Over the past two days I've been getting weird emails intended for somebody else. Now I wouldn't normally think too much of this, but these were unique. I think all 3 people who emailed me were looking for uniquely different persons. The first one was an invitation to give an audition for a presentation on some sort of abstract skill for a Princeton Review session in Dallas, TX. Things like "cooking bread", "how to order food in french" or "finer points in annoying people". [...]

I wore a new shirt to work today. Purple isn't a color I normally wear, but I received enough compliments for me to change that. But there have been times I wore something questionable and I received rather unfavorable response. It was the early-to-mid 80's and times were a bit difficult adjusting to this new country. Well apologies for the lame post yesterday. As I've made abundandtly clear in past entries, my site thrives on the visitors I get for my technical information. But in all fairness, I don't want to neglect those people who actually read the blog hoping for real content from me. So let's see. Growing up I learned that sometimes it was better to learn how to something yourself as opposed to paying someone else. This was most apparent with me helping my father work on the car in the past 10 years. Although the motivation was primarily financial, many times after completing some challenging work there was a great deal of fulfillment. This is one for the memory books. I had a blast, Austin is great. The people are nice, the food is rich and the everything seems like it's in motion. Now on leg 2 of my US tour I will be gracing Texas with my presence. My buddy Mahesh insisted that I come down there for him to argue his stance as to why I should switch to Intel from AMD processors. I don't know sounds like a tough challenge. ... Got into Virginia friday night and just looked over our plans then smashed eachother on Super Smash Brothers. Saturday we took in the Mall of DC. Unfortunately everything was either wardened off or it was just too crowded. The main spots were the Smithsonian Air and Space museum and Natural History museum. Very fascinating.
