I also had the same problem with the camera (Canon SD400). However, I found a setting:
Fedora F (Start Menu)
- System
-- Preferences
--- Removable Drives and Media
Removable Drives and Media Window Opens
Camera Tab
[Check] Import digital photographs when connected
I left the command, gthumb-import %h, alone.

My daughter was confused by the lack of a 'switch user' option in KDE (ver 3 I think?). We use that heavily in Win XP here, so I'm looking forward to that.

There are a number of problems with Flash on Firefox on Linux, which you might or might not have heard about. I got some pointers <a href="http://weblogs.macromedia.com/jd/archives/2006/01/kde_swf_discuss.cfm#comments" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

rjbond3rd: Thanks for the comment. I tried RealPlayer and had no problems, although I do not use Evolution.

Hi Mauriat, I am really looking forward to your FC5 guide. It is completely essential and very appreciated.

On a side note, I'm hoping the Real player will finally behave in FC5 (at least on my lowly machine with onboard audio and video, it causes Evolution and ultimately, all of Gnome to lock up, requiring a Ctrl-Alt-Backspace).
